Relationship and Family Counseling
Confessions Part II
Authenticity and self-development is not limited to the individual—much of our growth and healing happens in the context of relationships.
Family counseling and relationship counseling are not just for people who are having difficulties, but for those who want to deepen their relationships with each other, work through shared challenges, or grow through the changes in life together.
Families, polycules, couples, queerplatonic partnerships, and any form of partnership may benefit from joint therapy, especially when experiencing change, such as:
Cohabitating for the first time
Processing shared loss or grief
Changes to employment or financial resources
Coming out to family members or community
Seeking to embrace their relationships more fully
Navigating systemic oppression together
Working to define or maintain boundaries
Planning to adopt or have children
Exploring kink dynamics within a partnership
Accommodating and adapting to a member’s illness, disability, or neurodivergence
Opening a relationship to nonmonogamy
Seeking to break generational cycles and create new ways of existing in relation to one another
Any group of people who wants to learn more about their interpersonal patterns and grow into new ways of being in relationship to each other
I take a client-centered approach to help clients use their collective strengths to overcome challenges and accomplish their goals. To learn more specifics about my approach to counseling, click here!
