Major life transitions, whether they occur intentionally or unexpectedly, can cause a myriad of complex emotions. Transitions can include (but are not limited to)

• Grief and loss

• Career or school change

• Adjustment to higher education

• Break up or divorce

• Change in family constellation

• Gender and/or sexuality affirmation

• Long term sobriety maintenance

• Empty nesting

• Serious illness or disability

• Life in a new community
