Gender Affirming Medical Care Assessments For Adults

My Commitment to Supporting the Ohio Trans and Nonbinary Community:

For gender-expansive adults who choose to utilize medical treatment to experience gender euphoria, y’all already have to jump through so many hoops to live your authentic lives in peace. I want to be one less barrier and am committed to making this service easily accessible. The state of Ohio requires letters from medical professionals attesting to a trans adult’s mental competency to start HRT and/or affirming surgeries…it’s condescending, but if we have to play the game, let me help you play the game by completing an assessment and writing a letter for free.

I am trained and certified to assess readiness and appropriateness for gender affirming medical care and have written many letters of recommendation for trans clients to receive HRT and surgeries utilizing the official Standards of Care for the Treatment of Transgendered Individuals as written by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health.

Please note: if you are not already an existing client, I will need to conduct a 90-minute assessment to be able to complete your letter thoroughly and accurately. Rest assured this assessment is indeed free of charge. After writing a draft of your letter, we will meet again for 30-minutes to ensure accuracy of details, also pro bono.
